So today I decided to start on my web authoring project. I'm currently at beginers level in using HTML and CSS.This doesn't seem challenging so far as a website is just built from a foundation of basic tags nested within each other.

I've been thinking lately that I want to make a Superman videogame. Now the Blue Boy Scout hasn't exactly had the best luck in the video game department but I really think with the right tools it can be achieveable.

How do you make a compelling video game of a character that's basically a player using Godmode in gameplay?

My skills in Blender have been improving over the last few days. I've been using an addon called Archipack which allows you to create architectural constructs easier.

I'm planning to recreate my house as it was in the late 90s in virtual reality using this addon.

So other than Superman, I absolutely love the Half-Life/Portal videogame series.

While technically two different franchises, they exist within the same fictional universe.

In Half-Life you play as Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist who defends Earth from an interdimensional alien empire using a crowbar. Half-Life is unique in that there are no cutscenes, events experienced by the character are also experienced by the player in real time. This makes the whole experience an immersive one.

In the Portal series you play as Chell, a test subject imprisoned by a malevolent artificial intellegence. You are forced to solve tests using a gun which fires Portals, the main idea of the story is that you try to escape the testing facility.

Portal shares the same developement team as Half-Life and so many the same themes and assets are carried over from Half-Life. The two series rarely affect each other but their presence is felt throughout their respective games through references and easter eggs.
